It is funny how old this thread is.

But yeah, as useless as things like Amity and Second Wind are, "The Power is Yours" truly is the most useless skill as an elite in the game. It would make sense if it was a normal skill as you could use it to keep up Echoes and gain energy for affecting team mates (though you might as well just use "Go For the Eyes!" since it is just as spammable, uses the same amount of Adrenaline, and actually has a positive team effect)

Poison arrow is not useless. Barbed arrows + poison arrow is the magic combo, you can spread long lasting 7 degen on foes with an 1 second cooldown, it's simply awesome. Used to run it in AB / FA .

The Dagger or Scythe spam paragon builds really shine if you can spam both "The Power is Yours!" and "Go for the Eyes!". I agree it's effects are pretty useless but the build does need a second spammable adrenal based shout to keep up energy.

And yes, as someone mentioned, Equinox is awful.

I don't see how a skill that has seen serious use in high end GvG is more useless then a skill like second wind.

granted, its main purpose was to keep mending refrain and aggressive refrain up, but the skill saw use which kinda disqualifies it from, "Worst Elite Skill" when there are skills in the game that don't even fill a niche role.

Second Wind would be borderline usable if it were a 1s cast. I can't help but think that the only reason it's 2s is because Anet was afraid of people being too dumb to figure out how to cancel a skill without moving during the cast.

I'm not sure it would even be borderline usable even if it had a 1s cast just because there are better, and easier ways to maintain your energy then having to manage a proper level of exhaustion on yourself in order to receive a decent benefit from the skill. But I'd have to actually give it a try before I'd write it off completely.

At least TPIY has uses. Amity does not.

Equinox - waste of an elite slot /facepalm
Second Wind - Prob takes first place trophy of complete s**t
Amity - just what gws needs... an elite pacifism. Guess it does have a use to piss melee off though.

How about Decapitate? Its a piece of crap compared to other warrior elites in pve. I've seen people try and use this in pvp back when I was a gvg geek for spikes and didn't contribute anything over Eviscerate + Body Blow, then what does the warrior contribute afterward? Nothing. As long as Eviscerate is around this skill is complete trash.

standard hammer/weapon swap and full recharge chain.
Basically if unprotted or rupted (good luck) you could kill or near kill every 5 seconds... one chain after another
